Bulky refuse is collected by the Council. Electronic and electrical items (referred to as WEEE) are collected with the normal bulky items, however small WEEE items should be disposed of in the appropriate bin found at the entrance to the Local Council.

The contractor is not obliged to collect more than 4 items from each residence. Construction material will not be collected. If possible items should be packed and placed in a driveway or front porch.

It is important to indicate the type of items to be collected and be as specific as possible since the contractor will not collect anything which had not been specified.

One may also dispose of any bulky waste (including construction material) on any day at one of the Civic Amenity sites run by Wasteserv.  One of these sites is located at Magħtab, Naxxar.
